Bury Aces is hosting a dedicated Showdown Try It Tuesday session for anyone interested in experiencing one of the fastest‑growing VI sports in the UK. Whether you’re completely new to sport, returning after a break, or simply curious about Showdown, this session is designed to give you a confident, supported introduction.
What to Expect
Participants will be guided through the fundamentals of Showdown, including
- Orientation around the table and equipment
- Basic batting technique and safe movement patterns
- Introductory serving and rally drills
- Simple gameplay sequences to help you understand the flow of the sport
Who can Attend
This session is open to:
- Blind and partially sighted participants
- Anyone interested in learning more about VI sport
- Support workers, family members, and volunteers who want to understand the game
No previous experience is required.
